    • There must be a “Risk Management Team” present at each party.

Estimates to be discussed after golf tourney (July 9th).

Fall 2004: October 23, 2004

The Fall meeting of the Tau Phi Delta Board of Directors was called to order at 10:00 am on October 23, 2004 by Phi Jim Stelter.

Phi's Report: Br. Stelter. Congrats to Br. Yorke and his committee for an outstanding job on the alumni done newsletter aka: The Taproot.

Alpha Phi's Report: Br. Smith. Currently 19 brothers in the house along with 1 pledge and 4 boarders. Pleased to announce that the brotherhood had a GPA of 3.05 last semester.

Tau's Report: Br. Kamzalow. Announced that the house has redone the mortgage and it will be paid off in 4 years. Prepare for another burning!!!

New Business: This was the bulk of our meeting. PA law dictates that we must have a sprinkler system in place by Sept of 2008. Br. Eric Horvat, who is actually employed in this line of work, estimates our cost at $65 to $85 thousand dollars. The brotherhood decided we must get the ball rolling on this as it will only get more expensive. Br. Horvat will get 2-3 bids around and we will vote at Spring BOD. It is our hope to begin construction late '05 or early '06. We may have to use monies from the Endowment Fund for this project.

Br. Frank Judd reported that the fund recently received a large settlement from the estate of Br. Hartley. The house also received additional funds from the estate of Br. Bauwin. The brotherhood was reminded to remember the house in their wills and financial plans.
